Great post by Elegant Themes, makers of Divi, one of my favourite themes! I repost here so my prospective clients can read and maybe self-edit some ideas they are coming to me with. I would still use image carousels for some clients (used in moderation, not lightening fast auto changes, but it’s sobering to read that the 2nd, 3rd images don’t ever get clicked on. Other ideas in here I agree with: hamburger menus on desktop versions of sites is a silly idea, but they do make sense of course on a responsive version showing up on mobile.
