It’s been a while since I posted on my blog, because I have been so blessed with work! New websites, revamping and maintaining websites, SEO work for people, monthly content for their blogs and Google My Business, and social media. As always, very grateful for the fun topic areas I get to work in and people I get to help!
Was explaining on-page and off-page SEO to a client today so looked up a great reference – and found this one – a must- read for all my clients if interested in on-page and off-page SEO!
Thanks, WooRank for having great writers that write great content too.
Am happy that Google My Business was specifically mentioned for off-page SEO as it’s something I do like to get everyone to do.
On-Page SEO:
- have a great list of keyword phrases that you can build traffic for among your target market
- track them in a tool like SERanking (I include this in my packages)
- have a fast site
- have a mobile-friendly site
- do your title tags correctly for SEO
- create great content and include your phrases there
- do your headers correctly for SEO
- do your alt text (image alt tags) correctly for SEO
- do internal links
Off-Page SEO:
- have links to your site from real, related, great places
- do social media properly – note: this takes at least 2 hours a week!
- do Google My Business properly – one post a month at least!
