Since 2018 (well, probably earlier) you could set up SSL (resulting in your site showing https: not just http. Google now shows a “lock” icon for “secure” as does Firefox. All sites should have SSL – and here’s why:

We can get your site set up with SSL. Your Internet Service Provider will charge between $0-80 for this “service” (getting the certificate, keeping it up to date).
We also have to set up a WordPress plugin to help.
Some ISPs are a bit fussier with the authorization procedure. We sometimes have to create an email address such as webmaster@_____ to receive some authorization email.
And then we have to tweak one thing in your existing Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, any Google Adwords ads we have running (your destination URL has now changed), and you should (or we can) update your URL in all your social media platforms and also advise those who are linking to you.
Setting up SSL for your site is about $100.
Please contact us to book in the time for this. We also can help with improving your site’s search rankings, updating content, adding blog content to drive traffic, redesigning your site, setting up Google My Business, setting up + optimizing Google and Facebook advertising and more.
